All Allied Health students receive training through classwork that prepares them for the final portion of the program: an externship, or professional work assignment in their field**. Externships are an important part of the program as they give students the chance to exercise what they've learned while meeting potential employers and getting a valuable credit for their resume. Students get training in job searching and interviewing skills, both in class and through one-on-one coaching, along with job placement assistance.
All prospective students must fill out an application and interview with an admissions representative, who will help them to determine which program is right for them. The interview, application and transcripts are then used in deciding which candidates to admit. Financial Aid is available to those who qualify. Students will need to meet with a financial aid counselor to discuss the application process and which aid sources are best for them. To make the process as convenient as possible, both admissions and financial aid representatives may be contacted on the school website via online chat.
National Career Education is accredited by the Accrediting Commission of Career Schools and Colleges (ACCSC) as a branch location of Institute for Business and Technology, Santa Clara, California.
