Southwestern students looking for an education in the art and science of Traditional Chinese Medicine that will prepare them for Arizona state licensure should check out the Phoenix Institute of Herbal Medicine and Acupuncture in Phoenix, Arizona.

The school is one of the first, and only, nationally accredited acupuncture schools in the state. Phoenix Institute’s academics consist of master’s degrees offered in:

• Acupuncture
• Oriental Medicine

The Oriental Medicine program features an education in both acupuncture and Chinese herbology. Besides learning single herbs and their functions, you will also be instructed in how to critically assess patients and modify your treatment based on their symptoms.
